Mary Mullett Mary main physical activity has been running for over 30 years. Knowing that she was getting increasingly inflexible, she decided to try yoga in 2008. One particular instructor sparked her interest and attendance in a weekly yoga class began. After 6 months of doing yoga, she also discovered that a chronic neck problem had disappeared, which was not helped through other means. Wanting to learn more, she began investigating more yoga classes and began teacher training which was completed in 2011. Mary is a certified instructor through a 200-hour RYT Yoga Alliance approved Teacher Training Program with Yogafit. She enjoys taking classes in many styles of yoga to include Kundalini, and Hatha and visits many different studios around town to deepen her practice. All has helped her to slow down and enjoy the present moment. She enjoys helping others discover what yoga can offer to include stress reduction, more mental clarity, elongated muscles and a strong powerful body. The breath work practiced in yoga can be brought into everyday life, to help us to de-stress and get through our hectic days. She recently completed Yoga Alliance approved coursework in Assisting and Adjusting and also in YIN yoga, with longer held poses which target our joints and connective tissue. Mary is thankful for the opportunity to teach at BRX fitness and share her passion for yoga with other yogis.
